NASA’s building the Space Launch System, the next-generation rocket that’s designed to take us to Mars. It’ll be the biggest, most powerful rocket ever built. But how’s it going to get us to Mars? Why does it have to be so big? And how is NASA planning on making a rocket that’s even more efficient than the Saturn V?
I got to answer those questions in “No Small Steps”, a five-episode YouTube series I hosted for NASA. It was a lot of fun diving into those questions, coming up with a rough script in collaboration with NASA and Media Fusion, and then being on camera. It turns out that having professionals at Media Fusion do the filming and animations gives a lot better result than I can come up with on my own.
This series marks the first time I’ve ever recorded a take and then been asked, “Hey, can you talk faster?”
